I don't suppose any of you folks have a basic kids go-cart that you'd want to sell cheaply for a 7 year old boy to go bashing around in on the back field of my place, would you?

I'm very much bottom feeding on this. Especially since it's just to be a motorized backyard toy for a boy. I'm also probably thoroughly out of date with what go-carts bring these days. I'd love to stay under $100 for a beater cart, if at all possible.

I have an off road cart with a 6.5 engine, comet-type clutch, cage, and large knobby tires... really too much power for a 7 year old but cheap (for the spec) at $400. Hasn't been started in a couple of years, hence the low price...

Basic carts like you're looking for seem to be in the $200-300 range, but sometimes you can luck on one cheaper.

Fall Carlisle in a couple of weeks, often carts available there...

Scour craigslist, cheap karts pop up on there all the time. I recently gave up my old yard kart for $100, ran great with 8" wheels and a 5hp Briggs I/C.

Craigslist is full of backyard karts, though likely not that cheap. I see them around $300-1000 depeding on age/condition.
