If the "can't get the car into gear" thing is an empty master or slave cylinder, it might be worth it. Semi-half affiliated because I have met and spoken to the previous owner a few times, before he sold it. The car was well cared for and had 260,000+ miles during his ownership.

"for sale a 2000 Subaru Impreza 25rs SEDAN (4dr) Blue ridge pearl

ASKING $1,500 as is and FIRM!! contact me at show contact info anytime is fine day or night

shell has 300K+ mostly highway miles Engine has around 165,00 miles on it (has common leaky head gaskets very typical sadly) Transmission has around 150 miles on it (does not want to go in gear) Cobb double adj short shifter Stromung exhaust Interior was gutted besides dash and seats and few interior panels ( I have it all still besides rear door cards) I have New black Carpet 2015 WRX wheels with decent tire life left (good year tires) Upgraded shock front and rear believe they are kyb adj

had paper work for the engine and trans but lost it during moving around. Previous owner had done the work and drove amazing till the day the trans stopped going into gear then its been parked ever sense for the last yr.

this Subaru isnt perfect and more or less just sits beside my house as i have no interest in it at all. I need to free up some bills and need the space. This is perfect for a parts car or you can rebuild it like i had planed. it is what it is. If you have any questions i'd be happy to answer them nothing to hide here."

Still looks like less rust than mine. (I would not want to see under my assorted bumper covers and such.)

I'm selling my coupe in about 2 weeks. Same color, less rust. Runs and drives.

That is really clean for a $1500 Subaru.

I wonder if they upgeschtupped the clutch throwout. It can be tricky to reassemble and it might have popped apart after 150 miles.
