sounds like a sweet deal, get a 4.8/trans/harness/pcm/aluminum driveshaft, part out the rest, scrap what's left, and end up with a free LS swap. i can't afford it right now so someone else buy it.

4.8 doesn't care about running with no coolant. Guy probably just wants to reinforce "no, dumbasses, you can't drive it home, you WILL need to tow it, as if the mangled frame wasn't clue enough"

Both of those are good deals (assuming the plow ext. cab is a v8).
These engines are getting old enough, and these trucks old enough, to get more and more plentiful in junkyard and partscar land. Good times are among us.
