Normally it bugs me when people post lowball things like this, but... given that you can usually find these cars in much better shape for $2k-3k or so, even in Ohio, I agree.

Not a hole if it plain just isn't there.
In my experience, rusty POS makes for a really bad rallycross experience. Better to start with a good, clean, rust free car, preferably one that rhymes with Smeevo or Sneeon or Miata depending on your drivetrain preferences, and then put good parts on it stictly as maintenance/weakness reduction, that way you spend more time driving and less time wrenching or staring dejectedly at a car-shaped pile of crap.
