Man, I'll have to think this over a little. I have a 63 Midget project car with a 71 parts car.

Easy one. Buy the car above for a grand. Add 3000 hours of your own labor and another 4 grand in new parts. End up with:

I was thinking more along the line of 2 projects w/2 parts cars = two 63 Spridgets. 1 Sprite - mostly stock and 1 Midget - upgraded.

Problem is I just don't have the room. And if I brought these home I would need the garage space to sleep.

I have two MG Midgets for sale for $50 a pop plus $100 for the hardtop. That is a lot cheaper.

Any of them a Mk I or II with interior and/or chrome trim? I need the proper "toothed"/vertical bar grill, the hood & side chrome, seats and the proper MK I steering wheel. My 71 RWA parts car has a complete 1275 drivetrain that's going into the 63. Some PO tried to make this MK I look like a MK III or IV sometime in the past. Changed to the 70 mesh grill and removed the chrome strips, which makes it look like a Sprite instead of a Midget. Even the current paint is MK IV and includes the one year only (70) "British Leyland" fender emblems. Also what little interior was left was diamond pleat. Bought mine for $50 also. If any of yours have what I'm looking for, you aren't that far from me and I can drive up on a weekend day.
