I'm just gonna leave this right here...

What the he!! is that? I consider myself fairly well versed, but no! Kind of Corvair looking, but the engine is too far rearward for that.
That project was abandoned a LOOONNGG time ago. But I'm strangely intrigued by it. Someone (not me) should buy it.
If that thing wasn't such obvious lawn art, it would be awe-inspiring Challenge fodder. But it would take $1000 worth of penetrating oil to get that engine to turn over, let alone the rest of the crap it so clearly needs to even run, much less compete.
I say rattle can it flat black, add a set of Zoomies, and only drive it when dressed as your favorite Mad Max character.

Possibly this was used as the basis for it?

Yes, yes, and yes. But as long as "someone" is not me.

Probably a early Toronado powertrain if you think it's an Olds. So 425, 455, or 403. If it's a Cadillac Eldorado setup it could be a 429, those were available 67 only (first year) or a 472/500.

That's definitely 100% a Big Block Olds, so it's either a 400, 425, or 455. I also think that it's a Toronado's 425 or 455. The 403 is a small block, and I can tell just by looking at the intake that it's definitely not a small block. Also, a 403 will not have all 10 valve cover bolts unless someone swapped the heads. The tri-power setup alone is worth probably half the asking price of this car! Pretty sure those only came on the 442 W30 in 1966-67.
