This would be absolutely awesome as an everyday driver for me

It's a Rambler, so it's not worth much. It's a six cylinder, which makes it worth less. Then, it's a four door, so it's worth almost nothing. Not a bad car, but good luck selling it when you're through.
Who said I'd sell it again?
Neat car but get rid of the Harley floor mats
Some Ramblers are worth more than you may think. I've been looking for a 59 american wagon for years. The hot rodders got to them and the prices are now stupid.
maaaaaaan, he dropped the price to $1,500.... maaaan. I might go look at it
Just got off the phone with the owner, he is a Porsche executive at Porsche North America, bought this off of the original owner. Has been in Atlanta since 1970, he has had it for the last 3 years. Takes it to Cars and Coffee monthly, drives it to work every once in a while. He lives a mile away from the house. Going to "look" at it tomorrow...
Oh sweet.. Three on a tree.
If you don't buy this I will lose what little respect I have for you.
If I bought this, I would drive it all the time. Except winter.
What scares me is sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. Will it boil over?
In reply to DukeOfUndersteer:
What makes you think it would?
It sat in bumper to bumper traffice in 1964, what's changed?
In reply to DukeOfUndersteer:
Tell you what. You buy it. If it overheats in traffic, I'll buy it from you for a buck three nighty eight, and I'll pick it up on my way back from Florida around Christmas time.

Look at the size of that radiator, now look at the size of that engine, how can it overheat? So long as the block doesn't have 2 inches of rust in the water jacket, the water pump still has an impeller on it, and the system hold pressure, it should be just fine. Also, its an old American lump-o-iron, overheating just means you have to let it sit 20 minutes to cool off.
In reply to DukeOfUndersteer:
BUY IT ALREADY!

Haha. I went to go look at it the 2 nights ago, he got mixed up and thought we were meeting at a McDonalds about 10 miles away, so I opted to go home. He has emailed and apologized, but I am busy for the next 4 days, today being my day of birth, tomorrow thru Sunday I'll be at the track with Anti-Stance working with a Trans Am Team. So the only day I'll have available is Monday evening.
Habby Birfday Duke! After that, go buy the damn car! You know you have the hook-up on AMC/Rambler parts (cough).
Who deserves a Rambler for their birthday more than YOU ???
Haha, thanks guys. You're killin' me.
I'm not sure if I should go ahead and get it without consulting with "The Warden" or if I can ask her permission
In reply to DukeOfUndersteer:
At least go look at it. I'd be all over that if it wasn't so far away. Happy B-day, BTW!
THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!!!

Passed on it. Went and bought myself a 1995 Honda Civic. 130k, 5 speed, running-driving commuter.
