As long as you're not on the coast or in a constantly damp area, we don't see alot of rust. We use a salt mixture on our roads when it snows, but with the snowfall in my part of the state( where the car is located... ) every 3-5yrs wouldn't make that an issue. I don't know much about these and the names always confuse me, but they look cool and simple.

MGs will still rust around here (upstate SC) even though we don't get a lot of snow. Its just not as bad or happen as quickly here.

Even though I am a Triumph guy, I have a soft spot for MGBs, roadster and GT. The first sports car I ever drove was a 67 roadster and I had a blast. I've always wanted BGT for a DD.
