The truck runs and drives, but needs a new transmission (doesnt shift). Body is straight with some minor surface rust. Other than a transmission it needs a new heater core, assembly of the heater ducting under the dash (I have all of the parts), and the carpet put in. I also have disc brake conversion dropped spindles for it. I don't have pics yet, I should in less than a week, so if anyone is interested let me know.
Where is it and define "minor surface rust". Can I take a magnet to the rockers and cab corners and hit steel?
It's located in Vacaville California, and by surface rust I mean what most people refer to as patina on the roof, cowl and hood. There are no holes or places even close to having holes that I can find. The rockers and cab corners are just as solid as when it was new.

Yeah, I was actually already offered $1500 by someone who wanted to part it out and send the body parts to your area. I decided to do a little work and sell it whole though. From what I have seen of those trucks in that area, if you want a nice one there it would be way cheaper to ship one than try to do the body work they all need.
