That's in better shape than the last dozen or so that I have seen up here.

Yes, one of the cleaner ones lately. I've always liked the lines of these.

That first picture reminds me of some kind of primate fossil....

Wouldn't that rear fascia and the roof look good on a Miata.

There is a datsun 240Z running around with the rear fascia from one of these grafted onto it. I believe it may have even had an early hemi in it. It was for sale for somewhere in the several thousand dollar range.

It's actually missing more than it says. The Front valance is gone and that is structural. Looks like it was removed at the seams to maybe install a valance with a spoiler built in. Those are available and a popular mod. Where are the headlight buckets? That isn't mentioned. Can be obtained on eBay but where are the ones that came on the car. And the other lights. All that little stuff adds up to big$$ to find. Other than that the body does look to be solid. If someone had a rusty one to transfer parts from it would be a great deal. A good opportunity to upgrade to a newer 4 or even better 13B. Not as much room in the engine compartment as people think without hacking things up to enlarge. That's how most Opel GT's where lost to the junkyard.

You know, I've actually measured it. We have a couple of GTs at the shop surrounded by Miatas. I seem to recall there's waay too much tumblehome for the roof to match the windshield.

One of them probably has everything this car needs to be finished - it had a tree land on top so the roof is missing.

You'll need to log in to post.
