I stopped and looked at it last night. Most everything under the hood is burned up including all the parts I would need that I sold last winter on ebay.
He told me he owned it for 19 years and drove it as a spare car. The gas lines are all old or the SU carb hoses went bad. The hoses by the gas tank are all wet and old and smell. The entire car is stock except for the wheels and steering wheel.
Minimum rust as in no floors or rails or quarter panels need to be replaced. Great start for a race car or to drop a V8 into. $2,000 is not in my budget at this time. I threw a low ball offer back to him.
