That's a really sad story about a really cool car.
Yeah, that's part of what bugs me about this car. I was so wanting a diesel Benz...loving the black on black...and then I got it home and found the rust. :-(
Just the heater fans on these go for almost your asking price.

Another update..most of the usable parts from this car have, happily, found a good home. Two guys showed up yesterday and loaded up everything they could fit into their Ford pick-em-up truck. The rest of the car....
