Rolling shell with some upgrades and most of interior: $500 for GRM members. There are over $500 in brand-new parts already on the car, so if you wanted to part it out you could make some extra money. I don't have the time to part it out.

Car + Including M42/G240 drivetrain (rebuilt, engine, 2 x trans, DS, radiator, ECU, etc): $1300 for GRM members. I don't mind keeping the drivetrain as a spare for my e30, so it's priced what it's worth to me

Here's the post. I can answer any additional questions you might have. Located just outside Washington DC.

Looked through your build thread but didn't see any pics off the bat... (maybe I was looking in the wrong place though).

Here is one for inspiration:

hmm... how much crossover is there for the important bits between these and e30's?

Add some pics. Could be interesting depending on how "projecty" it is.

surprisingly, not much at all. The only parts on this car that would be of much use on an e30 is the engine and tranny (which came from an e30), lol. I'm sure there is some crossover on some things, but the suspensions are different front and back, brakes different, even use a different wheel offset.

Here's the complete build thread I started for it (with tons of pics). Just skip to the end and you'll see what it currently looks like..

Iirc, they share more with the 2002 than the e30

And for the record, I want it, but why does the cool stuff come up when I'm tapped out on spare cash? Seriously, when I have spare money its like searching for vegetation in the depths of a volcano....

yup, the front/rear suspension is more 2002 than e30. The interior has more e30 elements to it.

And I hear you on the spare cash thing. Since I'm not feeling this project, would prefer to spend my (limited) car budget on e30 upgrades and/or something different. I can't do another project car until this one is gone, lol.

I'm not asking all that much for it though, you could probably round up some cash :)

changed the original post, with link to the CL ad for it. Willing to sell the roller without drivetrain if someone would prefer to do an M20 or something....

Problem is, all spare cash is going towards paying off the personal loan I took out when the Raptor fell into my lap.

Man, if you were even 500 miles closer. Anyone heading Washington to the southeast with an empty trailer anytime soon?

Bump.

Lets go $475 on the shell for the GRM crowd (I have it for $750 on CL).

Engine is about to be unavailable when I drop it into the e30. But the running engine currently in the e30 may be.....

Would also consider a straight trade for a decent MIG welder or oiled stand-up air compressor with good CFM that's not super-loud.
