Spyder

Spring cleaning time. I began restoring a 1980 fiat spider I received from a friend a few years back. The car has around 80k on the chassis. So far I have installed a rebuilt engine, I rebuilt the transmission, clutch, carb. Yes it has a 28/32 progressive carb and not the FI. Took it off for another project. Car runs and drives like great but needs a muffler as I only have the exhaust manifold and downpipe assembled. Very loud but can be driven. Also new cap and rotor as well as a new radiator flush brake fluids this season and new fan switch. Car has been recently undercoated and frame had no rust other than surface. Floor boards are perfect. Mostly garaged before me. All of the chrome parts are here but disassembled as I began body work. There is the usual rust in the rear quarters that'll have to be cut etc. Realistically this runs and drives for 1k with a lot of new parts. Please don't contact me asking if I will trade for a shotgun or clothes. Also do not contact me offering ridiculous numbers. Thank you. I do want it gone asap.

That looks like a great start!

Maybe it's just me, but if a car has rust throw a guy a bone and include a picture of it.

That would require even a modicum of effort.

Very true. It could potentially save everyone some time though.
