Here's what the guy says:

1980 Plymouth TC3 Turismo w/43K miles The VW 1.7 L carbureted engine w/4 speed manual trans came stock in this model and are original as are the tires and honeycomb aluminum wheels. The Turismo package features a heavier front sway bar and an added rear sway bar as well as premium interior componants. I'm the only owner and I bought the car new and it has never been in a crash. In 1984 I began to dismantle the car to paint it, then got married, had kids, you know the story. Since then the car has been garaged w/a custom car cover. There is no rust thru, all parts are present and I have the factory service manual and the title.

This looks like an interesting project. I forgot that these came with the VW motor for a little while like the early Omnis did. There are options with what drivetrain and motor you could run. You could go the VW route or one of the many Turbo Dodge motors, from the 2.2 TII to a SRT4 motor. Might be the coolest car made in 1980.

I learned to drive stick in my sister's red TC3, she bought new. It was a first year, no options, 1.7L and I thought it was the coolest thing at the time.
