Mine.
I've had this for almost two years now and have done very little to it. I don't know why. I thinking (hoping?) that a change in project will get me jump started, but who knows..
Anyway, it has a 1982 Mustang GT drivetrain, but was originally a four banger. Very little rust (more pictures upon request) and the worst spot is under the driver's seat. I have another driver's side fender. I've pulled the gas tank as it sat for some years before I bought it. I heard it run with the PO pulling gas from a gas can with an electric pump and it sounded good.
I also have two more sets of wheels and tires. Rotas with newer tires and Ponys with 300-mile tires. These would be $200 each set.
Oh, and the whole car is $700 which is what I paid for it almost two years ago. I'm hoping to pass that good price on to someone who would, finally, finish the car or do SOMETHING with it.

Coolness.
A friend had one in HS...straight 6 with Recaro seats from the factory. And those TRX wheels.
Let's see: Four eyed notchback with GT drivetrain - check. Manual transmission - check. Honest seller, looks decent and priced right - check.
You should have no problem selling that.
Want to trade for a tilting utility trailer?
Are the notches of this vintage rare? Usually 90% of the Mustangs of this vintage for sale are hatches.
Very glad you are very far away...
Wow. I've been having issues with the RX-7 and have been thinking of jumping ship and this is exactly the car I want...
...but I want a 4-banger Can get a much nicer, progressive power curve and a 2.3 humming along at 8800rpm makes a glorious sound.
Um... trade you a GTI?
I remembered some things I'd left out when I finally got a chance to relax (shh..posting this at work and don't always get into a car-frame of mind quickly). The windshield is cracked and the trunk lid should be replaced (rust). The passenger side rear wheel is locked up from sitting so long and the driver's side has some rust -that's why I have the extra fender.
Seems most of the Fox-bodied Mustangs I look at (for parts) are always hatchbacks too. Not sure why...
GTI? Tell/show me more...
Also if you're close, there's a turbo Capri in Ky I've been eyeing if 4-bangers are your thing.

It now has spark, correct timing, and the correct snowflake wheels with tires made in this decade. Not getting fuel, still working on that. Pump good, wiring good, fuel distributor maybe bad. Trying to source one.
Knurled: I can check out the Mustang for you if you'd like another set of eyes on it. Stan is just a few minutes up the road from me.
Is there anything more 80s than a graphic equalizer/power booster screwed to the underside of the dash?

I submit that there is not.
Glad you're not closer. Getting harder to find a [relatively] unmolested Fox body these days, especially in notchback form.

Yes, and one of the reasons I was looking for this (kind of )car. If I keep, it I want to keep it as is. No hood changes and no color changes ("Light Desert Sand" is definitely a sleeper-color), but the no-hood-change idea limits my carb options.
If you were closer, I'd trade you a rusty CSX for that. That is a great deal.
