not mine, no affiliation, don't know if it's challenge priced, but since it's a helluva unicorn I thought I'd toss it on the fire:

There are two in the junk yard here. I snagged the 1.6 emblems of one to put on my diesel. I haven't seen one driving since high school.

a silver rust free fuego turbo 5 speed is my unicorn. the holy grail if you will of my automotive existence. when i was 14 my dad let me play with the silver 83 fuego non turbo that they had as a backup for years. unfortunately it had been hit and repaired poorly so was only really suitable for "oh crap one of the cars broke bust out the fuego" duty. also, it rusted out from sitting most of the time, and he scrapped it with only 26k on the clock. i have never seen a fuego with more than 50k. i am pretty sure my dad's was the only one in the US that did not break down permanently in the 80's because he drove it up to 95. but i still want a silver turbo so bad i can taste the gas bill from driving to get this one. no room. no $, too many other projects kills the dream this time. one day...
Wonder if it sat inside somewhere or was cleaned REALLY good by the seller? Is there a French built car ANYWHERE in the U.S. that has covered 100K miles?
Really nice looking car, and it's a turbo, I agree with seller that it should not be parted out, but maybe donated to a museum....like Lane's?
I was actually just talking to a woman that dropped her car off at the shop(to have an engine put in it) about Renaults yesterday. She was concerned about the procedure, because she said the last car she had an engine put in was a Renault she bought new in the '80s, and the engine failed just out of warranty. She paid a bunch of money to get an engine put it, and she said it never ran right again. She then went on to tell me how it was in the shop more than on the road even before the engine problem. That being said, I still kinda want one.
