hey everybody 1st post on this forum but some of you may know me from the old v8rx7forum... Moving and need to sell my Ford 1st gen project.. car is located in KY
1983 Mazda Rx-7 GSL
Body is in good shape rust free and currently is painted flat black. Car has a 1992 Mustang drivetrain installed with a grannys speedshop kit. 5.0/AOD
Engine is switched to carb and has a 1985 alum intake manifold, edelbrock 1406 carb, 1985 carb ready distributor, underdrive pulleys, edelbrock chrome valve covers with breathers, have factory headers for it, 1 wire alternator, HEI ignition.. Engine runs good and ive fired it a couple times. Hasn't been started in awhile and needs a battery. (car has been garage kept)
trans is a stock AOD the driveshaft was custom made by republic diesel
Interior is in okay condition. Dash and center console is in good shape the seats are pretty torn. i have an aftermarket set of Temp,oil press,volt gauges that just need mounted and hooked up. The stock tach has been re-calibrated to work with a V8.
The car is NOT currently drivable it just needs finished up. Main items are needs E-fan, gauges wired up, alternator mounted, shifter, brakes are fairly froze up so id recommend new pads and turning the rotors I should have a set of new front rotors will include those with sale. I'm sure there are other small odds and ends but that is the nature of a project like this.. Lots of extra miscellaneous parts can be included as well.
Clean KY title. Moving and can't take it with me would be a great project that somebody can finish up relatively quickly.
Selling at such a low price because I need it gone. Ive had this car since the rotary and hate to see it go but its just time to move on. Feel free to email me or call 859-351-3519 I can answer any questions you may have
