Not mine, don't know much about these or how rare they are, but I like these motors

1984 Mustang GT350, 20th anniversary edition. White with red interior. One of only 362 ever manufactured with the 2.3 turbocharged motor and 5 speed transmission. Runs and drives. I have too many projects, so I'm selling for $1,800. Will consider trades for a good teenager car, or a Harley Sportster. Thanks.

They weren't all that rare when they were new. They were basically the 20th anniversary special edition Mustang. They were available with either the turbo or the V8. They sold more V8s.

They originally came with the TRX wheels.

Might be a good thing those are missing. I didn't remember them making those with the Turbo 4.

If this were a little bit closer I would take a look. Years ago I got one for $300 and flipped it shortly after for $1,000 without doing any work. Shortly after I started regretting it. It did have a much nicer interior than this one, but that was an easy 8-10 years ago. I have a SVO computer, hogged out E-6, and turbo coupe intercooler and VAM sitting at my house that would really liven it up.

Spin_out: I think these only made around 140 hp when the SVO's were initailly in the 170 hp range for the first year?

Yeah, something like that. The SVO was intercooled, these weren't.

Not all that rare, but still a pretty cool 4-eyed Fox body. I'd rock it.

SVOs got a lot more goodies than these things.

Come on, man! Don't you remember the April-May 1984 issue of Mustang Monthly magazine?

I thought you were a Mustang guy...

(Note: Pre-production prototype without TRX wheels.)

I seem to remember that the available 4 cylinder for these was a NON-turbo unit.

Pretty much all the GT-350 cars were white with a red interior, or if a convertible, white with a red top. All the cars got red GT style rocker stripes.

Editting a few minutes later:

I dug out a few Mustang books, and found that indeed all these GT-350s were white with red...even though the book shows a picture to illustrate them where the car is white with blue!

Only 5000 cars were built, but was unable to find out in a few minutes if ONLY V8 or if a 4 cylinder (turbo or not) was offered. Majority "should" be V8 with automatic. Convertibles PROBABLY outnumber hatchbacks...at least the majority SEEM to be 'verts.

I'd rock that, all it needs is megasquirt a few junk yard upgrades and a intercooler.

If that were closer to me, I'd have bought it already.
