I was really hoping this one was in Ohio...and also hoping it wasn't since I don't have money.

I used to drive one of those. See that console with the three cup indentions? That's actually a refrigerator with ice maker. And being that it's the loaded model with the refrigerator, it probably has two sunroofs. One small glass one that pops up above the front seats, and one HUGE metal power slide back sunroof over the back. I loved that van back in high school.

Oh man, I had an 87 model, complete with the dual zone air (that didn't work) ice maker, dual sunroofs, power windows and doors, three row seating, and second row rotating captains chairs. I bought it from Goodwill for $400, drove it for a year, and sold it for $200.

I actually want this pretty bad. It's a modest day's drive, or an Amtrak ride from me. I could roundtrip in a day if I start early.

My wife would murder me if I showed up in the driveway with this one day.

I loved those things when they were new. Didn't they have a name, or were they just a Toyota "Van"?

Is that one already rocking Celica-Supra wheels?

I don't remember if they were the exact same ones as the early Supra, but IIRC they were stock for that van.

I've always wondered what the crash rating was on one of these since your legs are in the crumple zone...

I've always understood their strategy to be built around a "never crumple, ever" zone behind a huge bumper with lots of travel.

I too was hoping this one was in Ohio, as I DO have the money. Damnit.

Other tidbits:

I've always called them Toyota "Hell" Vans (I worked at a golf course with a guy who owned one and that's what we called it.) Also, I almost fell out of one when my foot slipped while I was mooning a bunch of people out the side door on University Ave. in Gainesville after the last show at the Hardback.

PPS: A quick google search of the phone number reveals that it apparently belongs to a messican minister (hence the tassles...and probably the lack of title.) GRMCSI mystery solved.

PPPS: Cruising the trailer park on street view, I also found this rad shadow/sundance in my favorite color:
