1985 Z31 Turbo,Nissan VG20DET Ceramic turbo engine, Stage 2 clutch, Eibach lowering springs, Coolant temp guage, Boost controller & gauge, Cold air intake, Flowmaster, 3 inch exhaust from down pipe, 5 speed. More than likely a VG30DET. Hence the 300 moniker...

The air box was normally there so for those who like doing quick may or may not help mods can rip that old bastard out of there and but an e bay filter on there, i think its like a +34HP mod.

No, I'm fairly sure he means VG20DET. The VG30DE was only available in the US as a twin turbo, not a single, and it looked far different anyway. The VG20 is a Japan only engine.

VG20DET for comparison - looks like the same intake manifold.

There is a gigantic plastic cover that prevents the air coming off the radiator from going to that filter.
