1986 Subaru GL FWD. 5-Speed manual. Needs Clutch, Brakes, and Tires. Has an EA82 OHC motor. Was running good a few years ago, lost interest due to finances. Hadn't run in 10 years before I got it. Passenger side door is bashed in from accident before I got it. Body is pretty solid, scratches, faded paint, etc.
Pardon where it sits, I needed to take pics of another car. Didn't have time to move it out of the weeds.
$200 - Located in Beecher, IL.
what are the other cars there? looks like a rx7 perhaps behind it, and what is that station wagon/hatch?
I have doors and a hood for that for sale cheap.

My uncle decided to move all my cars that are ongoing projects out in the weeds with my junkers. I have to move them when the ground dries out.
The SA22 is my project car, that I won't work inn until I buy a house. The wagon is my old AE92 Corolla that unfortunately rusted out. The red dump truck is my '67 IH 1300C which is another project. The big green car is my grandma's '66 Mercury Montclair that I'm trying to sell for her. What you can't see is my '86 Crown Vic 2-door that I need to replace the trans in when I sell my XJ Cherokee.
1st do you still have this?
2nd, how far does the trans extend past the rear of the axle.
3rd, what bolt patern are these things
I live in Champaign so I'm not to far away I could come look at it in the next few weeks to determine if the drivetrain would be suitable for my nefarious needs.
I currently have a Geo Metro 1.0L for the Subaru 360 challenge shell I picked up from SVreX. It seems wrong and dirty to put a Geo motor in the Subaru. This could donate it's FWD drivetrain to put all proper subaru power in the 360. It sadly would result in Scrapping the rest of the shell but it would result in a Subaru 360 Challenge car with all Subaru power being born!
If Hocrest passes I will probably come pick this up. For f*ck's sake, I already have two of the damn things.

I'm not inline for it. Just offering up some info.

Er, I meant to say nocones. Regardless, my best friend has a brown one, and my girlfriend has a blue one (both 3-door coupes like this), might as well join the club....
If Slick is going to actually use this as a car i would much rather that happen then what I would do with it. If however he decides it's to far gone I could use it for nefarious means.

I wish I had known...
When you picked up the car, I had a FWD Subie trans sitting in the shop and a 2.0T from a WRX that would mate to it.

OK so, where does this car stand? Dan, if you get it I am going to be all over you. It can take Peugout wheels.
This needs a 2.5 swapped in.
I still have it, I gave up on this thread a while back, but I still do have it.
Have you put this up on Craigslist yet? List it for $500 and some scrap guy will talk you down then come get it. Cars are going for $220 a ton near me.
I have, but I know Subaru guys need parts, so I'm giving this car the benefit of the doubt here.
Are you interested in trades at all?
I guess it matters what it is, my wife may kill me if I get another car thats gonna sit around.
I'm definatly out on this one. I just bought at $1000 miata so my pattern is full.
Consider the car sold either way, I could pay you for it right now, the space is just more of an issue! I have everything needed to make this 4WD left over from my challenge project so it's hard to pass up...
If you could add some cash, I have an '87 Nissan 200SX SE V6 5-speed (est value ~1200) and an '89 Honda VTR250 Interceptor (est value ~1000). I am in the process of listing both for sale, if I can get rid of either I will be down to pick up the Subaru shortly.
In reply to SlickDizzy:
Well if I had some money, that 200sx sounds tempting, but as usual, I don't.
Just PM me when you want to come get it. I'll have it ready.
