Hello,
Today I am selling my belovex MR2. It is a N/A model with a 5 Speed manual transmission. It is also the hardtop version (not Targa top). 220K on the Odo
The car was owned by a mechanic/enthusiast before my ownership. he has replaced many things including all struts, battery, alternator, bushings and a few other maintenance item.
The car also has been repainted. No rust to be found anywhere on the car. Not show quality but definitely looks good for its age.
The ONLY problem with the car is that the engine seems to have rod knock. It will either need to be rebuilt or replaced. The 4AGE engines found in this car are easily found for a few hundred dollars and can be swapped out in a weekend by yourself.
Price: $1500 obo.
Located in Northern Virginia.
I am interested in trades for trucks, motorcycles, or other sporty cars.
Thanks for looking.

Please state your location.
He has an ad on craigs in WDC listing Springfield (N. Virginia??)
didn't you have an e30 motor for sale a while back as well? Ever sell that thing?
The ad has been updated with all the requested information.
Any takers? This thing is so fun to drive!
-Irish, yes I sold the m20 a long time ago. Although I do have a full m30b35 available with matching transmission.
Any takers? Price is VERY negotiable.
And you say it has no rust???
I swapped in a short-block in a MK1 MR2 with nothing more than hand tools and a few evenings.
Wow. I thought it would be a lot harder than that.
There is NO RUST. It is a great platform to do whatever you want.
I personally would swap in a 3sGTE turbo engine from the Mk2 MR2. There is a whole forum on the net that is dedicated to the swap.
Though these cars are dead simple to work on. Pinchvalve is correct that one can replace the shortblock in very easily.

How is this not sold yet?
Also, Pinchvalve probably didn't use any hammers when performing said engine swap.
Damn, I love those, had two of them. But I'm out, unless you want to trailer it to ATL. Rust free examples...and non-Pep Boyz'd to death, are hard to find.
Yes I know, this one is an excellent specimen. Someone please give it a good home!
This is one more car I would own if I had ANY room. Alas, I do not.
So much want on my part but driveway is completely full at the moment some one please purchase my Mustang I have posted up here (Taking offers at this point for it) That would make a GREAT replacement!!!
Hay want a 1994 mustang with some genuine New England rust? It runs and drives fine!!! I will trade you.
Actually...possibly. Pics or details?
Is this car still available? I am in central virginia, and would be interested.

Sorry I completely missed this.
Here is the thread for it on GRM with Photos.

EDIT the link is causing issues with my brouser so here are photos. I bumped the thread for the Mustang so it should be neer the top of the list if the link is not working.

I tried to contact you about the MR2 but the email bounced.
