Also, what's with the spurious LS1 in the title? It's an L98, and it's a Trans Am motor not a Corvette motor since they put them in Trans Ams at the factory and probably sold more of them that way than in the frikkin' Corvette! Sheesh. People.

That car also has a 305 in it and not a 350. The seller had an ebay ad for a while that listed the vin.

Why does everyone that has one of these (or the LT1 4th Gens) always have to say that (in my best Boston accent) "Yeah, it's got the Vette Motah"?

never saw the ad, but IIRC the 305 had a "G" in the VIN and the 350 had an "H"

Who cares what is currently in it, all that matters is that a LSx is what will replace it.

Ok, Say it could be bought for $700. Throw in a set of bearings and get it running.

With what’s left could it be made into a competitive Challenge car?
