Not mine...

I'm selling a 1992 Mazda Miata with an aftermarket turbocharger system. I purchased one week ago with hopes of having a fun car to drive on the weekends. However it is a little too much headache for me right now. On the way home from work tonight the turbocharger blew out the center section, causing the car to smoke tremendously. The engine still runs fine, and it has a new timing belt, water pump, all hoses, and everything else needed to to a water pump properly. It just needs either a new turbocharger installed, which can be had relatively cheaply. Or it needs to be returned to stock configuration. Either way I simply don't have the time or inclination to waste any more time or money on this car. The body is straight but the interior has several pieces missing, mostly around the guage cluster/steering column. The paint is very bad. The top is in excellent condition. The previous owner removed the radio prior to sale so there is a large hole in the dashboard. The car runs and drives, but do to the massive smoke produced, it will need to be towed. I have almost $3000 invested in the car. I'm asking $1500 OBO. I've been told the aftermarket engine computer is worth over $500 alone. It would make a great project for someone with more time on their hands than myself. The best way to contact me is via Email, and let me call you back. I work 7 days a week with widely varying hours so I never know when I'll be available.

Is that a good deal, what with the paint and the smoke, and all the what-nots...
