Please, someone get this out of my driveway. My wife will be happy, thus I will be happy. I bought this in 2010 for winter duty and it was so great I kept it as my daily driver driving 90 miles/day to work and back keeping the miles off my new car. Now that my commute is MUCH shorter, I drive my other car. I'll take $500 for it. The junkyard will give me $500 for it, so if it comes to that it comes to that, but I would hate to see a perfectly dependable vehicle go that way. One recent issue has crept up while it has been parked the last few weeks. The negative threaded terminal on the battery stripped and is now an inconsistent connection. Maybe a bigger bolt or just get a new battery. It still works, but I wouldn't rely on it long-term.
Below is the craigslist ad I posted before I got tired of all of that nonsense.
1993 Buick Park Avenue Ultra 3800 V6 supercharged / automatic / 210k miles / runs great / all matching tires with plenty of life If you're looking for cheap, dependable transportation, this is it. $900/obo.
As above, its a '93 Park Ave Ultra with the supercharged 3800 engine (pretty quick car). I'm not going to lie, it has higher miles, but the GM 3800 engine is well known to last a long time (I know everybody says that about their car when selling it).
I know of no immediate upcoming issues but its showing some age. Its a little loud (not terrible, but louder than it should be), a/c stopped blowing cold last summer, its got some rust, one of the seatbelts in the back seat doesn't pull out, and while parked at a Reds game last Summer some jackass did a hit and run on the front driver corner and the steering wheel has never been centered when driving straight since.
For $900 you get a car that runs and drives well. Can be seen in Mason area. First serious buyer with cash gets the car.
