Hey, gang;

I am selling a 1997 Miata that I picked up a few weeks ago. I bought it because it had a hard top. I swapped the soft top from my race car to this one (which didn't have a soft top) and plopped the hard top on my racer. I honestly don't know much about the thing, but my friend drove it to work and back every day for two years until he bought a Corvette. It might make a good donor for a 2014 Challenge car, or just a rad ratty roadster to cruise around in. Either way, you can probably expect to be the car's last owner and enjoy it for what it is for a few years or more.

For GRM folk, especially those of you who may wish to turn this thing into a Challenge car, I will work with you on the price. It's listed at $1,650 now.

Let me know what you think of the ad too.

The suspension appears to be FM adjustable.... The rust makes me think Locost donor. GLWS

Rust doesn't seem near fatal.

Sorry I haven't posted replies very fast. Shift work and weddings this week made me very busy!

Anyway, I lowered the price to $1,250. I don't know much about the suspension except that it has adjustable Tokico shocks and that it is, indeed, lowered somehow.

I think the rust is just cosmetic. The rocker stuff is probably related to a once-clogged rain rail drain. I do not know if the underside is rusty, but I've never really seen much rust under Miatas... they all seem to rust at those rockers and wheel wells. I will take a look under it next time I see it and report back if there is anything severe, but I don't think it's bad.

Yeah, sorry, Corytate. It's York, Pennsylvania.
