I sold a nicer, 100% driving with new tires, completely rust-free NA for that much, in SC.

Looks more like an Exocet donor if it wasn't for the engine using oil rather than a viable resto/fix up candidate.

Miatas appear to be more expensive on this side of the country but even with prices out here that's not a $2k car.
