1998 Dodge Neon ACR coupe for sale. I'm selling because I no longer need to keep it around. It runs good and would make a good fuel efficient driver. It is a true ACR model, which is the limited production competition ready model including the adjustable KONI suspension. Car has 147000 miles on it and runs good. Has AC and a sunroof. Has the usual scratches/dings for age/mileage. 2.0 DOHC 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission. Recent work includes new front engine mount, clutch assembly, brand new front tires, and an oil service. Rear motor mount is currently a solid bobble strut which causes increased vibration. THE BAD: starter just failed on vehicle. Car can be push started, but obviously it will require starter replacement. Also, drivers window off track and may require a regulator. The instrument clusters are a common issue in these cars, and mine has issues. The tach reads 1200 rpm too high and the gauges intermittantly drop to 0. Never bothered me, can be fixed/replaced for relatively cheap. With some minor repairs, would be a good 30mpg daily driver, or a great racer or challenge build. Asking 1300 OBO AS IS. Thanks!
