Me too... Sounds like it's been given good care. Price still seems a little high though but maybe that's just cause I'm cheap 
Edit: I texted the guy, probably going to go look at it this week. A solid wagon would be a good companion to my ratty $20xx challenge-bound SL2.

The price seemed just a tad high to me too. I was going to watch it for a week or so to see if the price changed. This and the 12 or so other CL ads I've been watching...

Why the hell did it need a timing chain 60k after an engine rebuild?
Edit, I think it was a timing chain gasket. seems more reasonable.
In regards to pricing, I guess it all depends how crusty it is underneath.
Edit: Maybe I'm just clueless but why would the cruise control cause a CEL? From the ad: "the cruise control still functions but displays a check engine light"

Because he used an MP2 trans (long gears from SOHC). The wheel speed does not match the expected speed based on RPM/gear.
I went to see it today. I definitely think he's asking too much, especially based on the exterior condition, but I don't think he knows it. It seems like a solid car though. Could be worth it if someone were to wait awhile and then make an offer. I didn't like how the longer geared SOHC transmission felt. I don't drive on the highway much so it wouldn't be that much of an advantage anyway.
So, moving on...
