I bought this bike on this very forum from EvanB, and have had it for a few years now. It has served me well, and is a great bike, but I find I just don't ride it much anymore, what with competition from my MG and Miata and with what I often have to bring with me to work. It starts right up and rides great. Everyone that's ever said how great of a bike these are, they are right, it's really torquey and easy to ride, but still entertaining for long term riders.
28k miles, no signs of ever being put down, but it does have some garage rash for getting knocked over: broken clutch lever ball and broken end of brake lever, which was fixed with a bolt and works quite well. The custom black and pinstripe paint job is in nice shape overall, with some wear where the jacket buckle rubs against it.
This was adult owned and only mildly modified. Aside from the paint job, it has a Leo Vince exhaust which sounds great, and a Buell headlight conversion with a wind deflector. I think it looks great.
It is up to date on maintenance, I recently cleaned the carbs, changed the oil (Rotella T6), spark plugs (NGKs), and the battery is only about 15 months old. It is turn key and ready to ride. It will need a new rear tire after this season, but it is fine as it is.
