Ok so as much as it pains me to do this, I want to sell my wrx and buy a 5spd gc8. I bought this car back in June, and I began saving up for a swap. Unfortunately, I got a speeding ticket that drained a lot of my money so I couldn't buy the engine. Then, a few weeks ago during that really bad storm we got hit with, I got in a little fender bender. Not a lot of damage, but the car will need atleast a hood, fogs, and some other body work. (Scoop is good) I decided that I need to learn a lot more about these cars before I go around swapping this and that. The good: The interior in this car is still amazing in terms of carpet/dash/seats/headliner Engine still runs strong, and is amazingly clean for a car with such high miles Transmission replaced at 208k with new one from Subaru Not a lot of rust, no rot. The bad: 235xxx on odometer (unfortunately this will scare some people away) Automatic, I know I know CD player doesn't work fog glass cracked, but still work Grille gone, but I have a DIY grille if you want it Little rust near hatch, and little near fenders. needs a belt (squeeks when warming occasionally) $2100, and open to GC8 trades (With cash on top from me of course) so pm me.
