how hard to swap an f2t in in place of the useless lump they came with?
That would be awesome to have the msp awesome suspension with an engine that can handle more than the dismal stock power
If you want to do a stock repair you better factor in a $400 OEM radiator since they seem to all break and there are no aftermarkets with provisions for the IC.

I wouldn't suggest an F2 in this car. There's been a few BP swaps and KL swaps.
I would suggest either of those.

Where is the IC mounted? I bet Griffin makes something that could be made to work with fairly little modification.

iirc the stock ic is a side mount on the right hand side.
Yes it is located on the drivers side of the radiator.

Does Griffin make ANYTHING under $400??

Yep. I didn't pay near that for my radiator from them.
That's such a shame.... I really liked those.

What radiator and where did you buy it? I need one for my Mustang, but everything I can find is at least $600.

2-26185-X.
Amazon for $220 shipped, sold directly by Amazon.com. (Though Griffin had to ship it to them first.)
I found it everywhere for $260 or under. There's other variations with the inlet/outlet in different places. (And i wish i had ordered a different one, but i can make this work i think.)
I'm not sure if it would work with a Mustang in terms of sizing, i'm unfamiliar with cooling V8s.
