Rough, but mostly present, and cheap.

I had forgotten about the groovy map lights.

I liked the wipers; tap the pedal left of the clutch and the wipers flip once.

Looks kinda like my Dad's old Capri, though his had the chrome bumpers, Mercedes seats and Quickor suspension parts.

I've had 3 of those.... biggest nightmare is the berkeleying front suspension... it doubles the sway bar and track bar... also LCA is a MASSIVE cast iron piece of crap with non-replaceable rubber bushing.... ARGH>>>>>>>>>

I did love mine... and wouldn't mind getting another... especially if I can re-engineer the front suspension...

I have owned a bunch, and yes, the front suspension is crap. But if you throw enough parts at them you can make them fun....with the V6 anyway. I have no use for the 4 banger, owned those too, in fact one was a yellow 74 as well.

I owned 4-5 of them. Three were the 2.0L, one was a V6, and one was a 2.3L Turbo in a Capri II. The bushings in the LCA were replaceable. What isn't is the ball joint. If that went you have to replace the LCA. If this wasn't 3/4 of the way across the country I'd buy it and put those 70lbs each bumpers off and then drop a 5.0L Ford V8 with aluminum heads. The car would still end up over 100 lbs lighter then stock!
