400+ HP Trans Am in MD $1,500

Well, at least the seller claims it to have "a little less than 500 HP". YMMV Anyway, could be a screaming deal for somebody here depending on the extent of the damage.

True, but even so its 275 HP stock with a lot of torques. The hood is probably worth a few bills and GM 7.5 rear ends are nearly free.

I drove one once. Felt like E36 M3, handled like a brick, and i'm pretty sure my 16 month old could put together a better interior. That being said, MAN that thing was a lot of tire roasting hoon-fun. Were I in the market for a cheap drifter, or something I intended on beating the ever-loving piss out of (who am I kidding, I beat ALL my cars) this would be quite interesting.
