At $800, is that thing any more than a lawn ornament with dead paint?

I mean, I guess you could make a cool clubhouse out of it.

I can think of worse looking lawn ornaments.

The headlights alone are worth a few hundred dollars

If they are the right wheels, et is 11 and 9 so vw guys can't fit them.

That's never stopped them..... At least around here. They'll put ANYTHING on a car around here.

Sounds like a job for stretched tires and a fender roller!

Same idea, but less hood, more class, more slam.

the car in Seattle looks sweet, but I could never deal with the sack of crap seller, referencing KBB regarding value of a 1969 vehicle and claiming that rust was contained via rubberized undercoating spray. Makes me wonder what other surprises will be found by the next owner. It could've been a sweet ride if it hadn't been for the owner after the original couple who owned it.

How do you know the 85 is an AMG?

You don't, there is no registry of VINs all you can do is see if the period parts are there and what degree of parts. If the owner has paperwork to validate his claim that would be awesome but....

My AMG 560SEL came with the info and I was able to validate the fact that it was one of 52 cars built by AMG West in 1991; pretty freaking awesome cars with the power, trans and rear end mods.
