That's actually a '58 or later Chevy, dude.
Edit - Now that I read the ad, it has a '58-9 front end on a '57.
I've been looking for one like that. I'd buy that in a heart beat if it wasn't so far away.

Douglas Reynholm doesn't get embarrassed.
I have a pair of doors from one of those. They have a nice patina and the faded lettering of the owner's name. I wanted to use them as garage art, but can't sacrifice the wall space.
if u guys keep making IT Crowd jokes in this thread, i will turn off the internet. (i emailed the Elders of the Internet, and they gave me clearance to do so.)
Seller said: The engine is a 350 but the block is cracked and puts water in a cylinder, it has a mild cam and aluminum intake. It still has good oil pressure so internals should be ok. The transmission is a th350and is good but the pan leaks.
If it puts water into a cylinder, isn't the compression down?
Regardless, is it worth $1800? I kinda like it.

no.......its either a cracked cylinder wall or a bad head gasket. I doubt its low on compression. I'd just put a new sbc in there with at least a 4sp muncie behind it.....

That's the History Eraser Button, from "Space Madness", the best episode of Ren and Stimpy. I'm fortunate to work with a few guys that refer to this button often.
