With more and more "educated" sellers this may be the last time you see a one owner car being sold for scrap value by someone who doesn't know what they have. If I wasn't on a project reduction kick, I'd be on it.

Wow. Somebody needs this. Damn shame he doesn't have some family to pass this hunk o' history down to. I'm sure he has some stories that go with it.

And I'd bet if a person would take the time and let him share those stories and show an appreciation of the car and it's history they could darn near have it for free.
I don't see any B pillars. There were (I think) 2 door hard tops in '63.
This looks like a job for Andy Nelson.
'63 was the year Ford offered a "formal roof" (looks like a T-Bird, sort of) on their hardtops and in the early spring they added a "fastback"/looks almost like a convertible 2 door hardtop. This appears to be a formal roof 2 door hardtop.
Just when you figure that all of these have either been the demo-derby route, or gone to the crusher, one shows up....and in the rust belt.
Damn I am glad that is no where near me.
I wonder how that woyld work as a crapcan racer?
Anybody know what the street value is on a Y block these days? Would a 351w have enough grunt to effectively move one of these around a track? And I don't mean a nascar spec 351w, but something that could be built on a lemons budget with minimal bribing of the judges.
I just sent the link to my buddy in Mohrsville, just south of reading. I'd expect it to be sold tomorrow. :)
