OK I was just sent this 1 crummy picture and wording. It is all I got. It is 60 miles away. I am tempted....1988 I don't have to worry about passing emissions here in Atlanta. Pass? or Fix and Flip?

1988 Coupe. I took it apart and have lost interest. Roller - No motor or transmission. Was factory 5.0 car (has 8.8 rearend), Black Interior, No rust, other parts stuff, I want it gone, come get it $650.

I wouldn't say "pass," but i certainly wouldn't pay $650 for that.

I wouldn't count on it being a "fix and flip," either.

The only way i'd buy that is if i personally wanted a Fox project, and again, there's no way i'm paying $650 for that.

To me, $650 is code for "Give me $500 and drag this misery out of my life." That said, if I found that car up here for $500 and it wasn't completely stripped of useable parts, I'd buy it to flip. Because hicks love mustangs around here.

Eh.... Being a notchback makes it worth a bit more, that hood would probably fetch a C-note by itself, still has the 8.8, rust free..... I might give $500 for it. Maybe.

Looks like a $650 slippery slope.

I wouldn't buy it with the intention of turning a profit. Before making a 60 mile drive I'd want to see pictures of the unibody structure under the hood. That car has had a fender and bumper cover "replaced", and foxes to not deal with front end impacts well.

Yea, that is good thinking. Also the others saying $650 is more than what it looks like.

I will push for more pictures and a lower price before I drive to see it. Thanks guys!

I should add that I'd love to find a $500 pos fox notch to stick my(mostly) built Zetec into. I think it would do a good job irritating people.

Rust free... that would probably be a $1000 shell here in the northeast...

Sold a runner in the northeast last year for less than 1k...it had minor body damage but a roller with no drivetrain? I think sub $500 takes that one.

Looking at the blue paint behind the headlight area - Could it have been a GSP car?

You're much better at finding these deals than I am... whenever I go searching for clean, cheap cars all I find is rusty hulks for above Challenge money...

Yeah, I'm with Ian here. Everybody here talks about how someone gave them a solid Miata that just needed a timing belt or they bought a nice running Mercedes barge for $300, but anywhere I get to go, people are just asking insane amounts of money for crap that just isn't worth it.

Unless I already had a cache of Mustang parts I think I'd pass on that one ... at the price.
