Most Datsun 240Z's I have looked at in the $750 price range all have the head, air cleaner, and the carbs in the back hatch.....

Owner: "the engine overheated as the head gasket was shot.......so I removed the head to replace the gasket and........."

I have seen it a dozen times.

If that's not terminally rusty (if the floors are gone, I'm assuming it is regardless of the 'solid rocker panels') this would be a great deal as Corvair drivetrains are inexpensive.
