My dad's first new car was a '67 Cougar. It was the first car I ever worked on - put a rebuilt carb on it when I was 14.
Much want.
And a 67 is so much nicer than the 68. They have a nicer steering wheel and they don't have the hideous side marker lamps.
Needs a big block FE in the worst way.
I love it. My wife would kill me..... Twice. I haven't even drug home my latest purchase to face the wife yet....
One of my first cars was a '67 XR7 GT with a 390 4 speed. I loved it but couldn't afford the single digit mpg while in college.
I use to have a 67..drove it for a few years then made a big tire drag car out of it. Rolled it on the third pass .
Remember, that is minor rust as per Upstate NY standards. A Southerner would most likely look at the "minor rust" and get immediate tetanus.

I considered this offer for longer than was probably reasonable.
