Price very negotiable for GRMers.

82 300td wagon. Turbodiesel with automatic transmission.

New AGM battery, new Firestone Winterforce snow tires and new accumulators for the rear suspension. The hydraulic self leveling suspension works and does not sag when sitting for extended periods.

New rear brake pads and rotors and a new caliper on the passenger side. The boots on the axles are torn and deteriorated.

It currently is not charging the battery. I put on a good alternator and it still isn't charging. I haven't had a chance to go through the wiring yet.

It has a fair bit of rust that you can see in the pictures. It was sitting for a few years in an open garage and there were some mice inside it. All the electronics seem to work fine but there is a definite smell in the interior. I have been cleaning it but it could still use some attention.

It runs well. A little rough when it is cold but smooths out when it warms up.

This would be perfect for my kid. Big enough that he and other gorilla-shaped friends can fit inside, room for internal MTB storage or conducting parent-ordered errands, almost fast enough to hurt somebody, and currently running/driving.

How is the trans shifting?

Trans shifts fine. The axles aren't happy after more than 20 minutes at highway speed. All the grease is gone from the destroyed boots.

Rust isn't bad for that year

Hmm, that would add to the challenge factor of moving it 100 miles north... Doing some research on W123 axles now.

I drove it up to Ashland and back around thanksgiving. It drove fine, just some terrible noises from the axles at times. It may be improved by filling them with grease until they could be changed.

Another thing I should mention is the driver seat is worn and sagging, most of the horsehair padding has deteriorated so it could use some more foam or support.
