The Chevette's brother
I know it's the norm around here, but I can't feel anything but twisted about how much I like that.
Needs more 4.3V6, turbo, and a T5.
True fact: back in the early '80s my dad had a self-sefve carwash. One night a regular customer of ours drove up in a brand-new, sub-100 miles T1000.
At least it was from the front. The back half had all Chevette badging. WTG UAW. Bowtie on one end and arrowhead on the other.
My sister bought one new, because on the particular day she was shopping, the Pontiac dealer was willing to sell one for less than the Chevy dealer.
On day 5, the shift linkage went. Within the next 6 months, both rear springs broke. She nursed that thing for almost 8 years. What a waste.
