Stock suspension/stock wheels. Wheels are 8/10 clean. Great tread on the tires. Everything is great except what I mention in the "bad things"
The bad things...something is up with the door handles. I busted the driver window in trying to get it open one day so it needs a new window. I have a replacement that will hopefully be put in before a sale. I haven't replaced it because its not my daily driver and I don't drive it in the rain. The fuel gauge has a mind of its own (common problem, probably the float in the tank) It needs a dual alt pulley as the belt sometimes screeches at high RPMs. If you are interested in driving it as is, I would highly recommend playing with some of the jetting. It runs/drives ok (I drive it on occasion/once a week) as is, but it needs tuned. I'll be more than willing to give my advice on this to any potential buyers. I have a dellorto tuning book and a few spare jets I will include as well. The radiator appears to be the orig radiator. Looking into the filler, it appears that it isn't in the greatest of shape. If I didn't feel it was safe I wouldn't drive it. -Just something to think about. It is missing the left rear side indicator light, though I have the molding. The car came with the "rare" lower molding and it needs to be put back on. (You will see in the pictures/vid)-So a lot of little things that need to be done with the car...but its a unrestored 26yo car, and my price reflects, IMO.
The AC system is still there. The belt is removed and the freon is out of the system.
I do have a few things that will be included with the sale that are not on the car. I have a front set of Hawk brake pads, a diff, a DLIDFIS system that was put together by RX-7Doctor on rx7club, and a bunch of stock parts that will go with the car. Basically everything in my garage that is related to the car is going with the car.
Trades, I am willing to put this car and cash money on a decent '02-'03 Subaru WRX or Forester or a 99-00 Jeep Cherokee.
Bottom line, this is a great car at a great price. The body is clean, the chassis is solid, the engine runs great. the transmission shifts great and the clutch holds just fine. I purchased the car with the intention on using it as a auto-x/HPDE/challenge car. I haven't been able to do any of that as I am considered a full time student and I work 40 hours a week. It has tons of potential to be amazing. I wouldn't mind keeping it, but I hate seeing it sit in the garage. I would love to see someone else take the reins on this and head to the challenge in it. Vehicle is being sold as-is. It is described to the best of my ability.
