This car is not gone, but is in fact still for sale....but now it's been reduced all the way to $900.
this is the link to the current ad http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/2289935404.html (not mine)
I am trying to get rid of this before the end of the day. I am selling my 1984 dodge colt turbo gts. I bought it as a car i could fix up. But now bills are calling. You don't see these ever. Very rare. Twin stick manual, it's got economy setting, then it has a power setting. Power setting makes this thing MOVE. Rust spots on body, but not bad. New fuel pump, all new fuel lines, cleaned fuel tank. New spark plugs. Car had been sitting for a while, which is why I replaced all those things. Seems to run great now. Car does smoke when it first gets started. Less than 100000 miles on the odometer. Clean title. Come drive this, it is absurdly quick and fun, you can't help but smile. Would make a great racing car or a daily driver. Supposed to get like 30 miles to the gallon. Can smoke hondas at a stoplight. Ask me some questions or call me to check this thing out. Need to pay some bills I've been neglecting. call or text 9043073135
The "Twin Stick" concept is a sort of distant relative to the gearshifting of bicycles. That is, in back you have a wheel with X numbers of gearsets available, and in front you have the crankset with 2 wheels/gears. So, instead of just X numbers of gear ratios possible (think an old 3 speed bike), you have X multiplied by 2.
A day or 2 ago, this guy was desperate for cash, I probably could get this car, or anyone who wants it, for LESS than $900. I don't think I need a rusty/crusty hatchback, no matter how quirky. Tho, with the quirkiness and the low mileage...it is tempting for only a few hundred bucks.
Nnnnrrrggghhhharrrrrblllleee....
I did not need to see this. I'm quite happy it is so very far away.
I was just on my local CL, and lo and behold, another (surely, the same one?) Turbo Colt.
I won't bother you all with a CL link, but after a bit of cleaning and fixing up, the "new"(?) owner is now selling for TWICE the old price.
A month ago you could have had this car for LESS than $900. Now, someone wants $1800 for what must be the same car.
Second low to second high shift was great in LA traffic, kept it right on the power band. What fun. 8 forward shifts to entertain the uninitiated. Mine was a blast--going down the interstate sideways into the medium after being cut off by a M-B wasn't. Thankfully built with strong B pillar.
Nope! Was too much of a friend with Miss Cleo. Same one didn't see the daily lottery numbers either
Thingy iin the middle of the interstate that divided the north and south bound traffic, otherwise known as a median. Pardon the finger slip. But, good catch and pun.
