EDIT: ****official price drop to a grand!

my friend's car, so for once, i AM affiliated with seller (and have driven the car too)

first thing, it needs a battery (or just a jump, at least - he hasnt driven it since october, i think). and his words: "I have here a 1986 Volkswagen Cabriolet for sale. 153k. Great little car and used to use as a daily driver to work. I have all documents of service and even the previous owners records. Starts well, runs smooth and does decent on gas. There is no AC and no radio. However, I do have one brand new, ready to install if you want to buy that too. I just never got around to it. There is also a tear in the front driver seat. During heavy rains, there is a drip in the front passenger side. I want to be completely honest so you know what you're getting. If interested please contact me by calling 347-806-two oh four six.

A Cabriolet is one of those cars I irrationally want very badly.

The MK1 Cabby is the original reason why I got into Volkswagens. Wish I could buy this...

I bought a '90 Cabby last fall and we're having a blast with it. They are very easy to work on.

My first car was a 56 VW convertible. My attention is always diverted when I pass by a cabby for sale on the side of the road. I may end up with one one day.
