The grill is vented, and it's missing the duct, but thanks for trying.
Buy that car for $500 and I'll show you how to do a 14 second quarter mile and get 50+ MPG for under a grand.
I'm not living in a glass house and throwing stones. Not like my 80s turbo E36 M3box of choice had any better intercooler and piping. (Well, slightly better, but I was never one to bet on the special olympics.)
Zomby- how much work do you need to do in order to get there? I was just buying parts from a guy who just picked one of these up. It was the first time that I saw one of these up close.

How do you do that?
You have to buy the car to find out
Mount the IC in the front. I did mine with old rad hoses.
2 1/4" exhaust
You need a performance cam, and it's an easy install. ~230 duration/.400" lift. This is the most important mod. If you only do one, the cam should be it.
You can use a boost controller, or just disconnect the the waste gate. Once the cam is in there, the motor is flowing so much air, the little turbo will only make 15 psi, up to maybe 18 under really heavy load. You need to add fuel. Any of the simple injector controllers work well, I used a pressure switch, and a pot wired into the coolant temp sensor. I could dial up as much fuel as I needed.
Smaller front tires, about 20" diameter, with some grip. The car hooks very well for FWD.
Add lightness, but the car is already well built that way, so there's not too much to do.
Did these cars get A/C at all? I think one could be my ideal commuter (well, except for the FWD part, but at that kind of fuel economy I can look past it)
