I've never popped a rotary, and they don't have valves... do they tick? I thought they just started doing massive oil blowby and lost compression.

When an apex seal goes, you'll know, it's WAAAAAAY past tick.

Yeah, that is not a Mazda rotary under that hood. Has to be a scam.
