93 Saturn SC1 with SC2 motor, trans, and interior
Black with black/gray interior. Automatic. 1.9 DOHC motor.
Clear title, etc...
Body had ~150k miles on it, but motor, drivetrain, suspension, and interior came from a 50k mile 95 SC2. Every component on this car is from the SC2, save for the body panels, wheels (the donor car had steel wheels), the rear brakes (donor car had drums, this one has disks), the steering wheel, and some of the glass. The doors (regulators were bad and it was easier to just switch the outer door skins), computers, complete interior, suspension, brakes, engine, transmission, shifter assembly, fuel lines/pump, suspension, exhaust, basically everything is from the low mile donor and has about 50k on it. For the most part I just made the red car black through a long and painstaking process of unbolting stuff and carrying it across my shop.
Since my sister ended up with a different car before I got this one done, I need to sell it.
The ABS/traction lights are on because the front hubs from the donor car don’t have wheel speed sensors. I have the correct hubs I’ve just not switched them yet. They come with the car. Brakes work fine, just without ABS.
Check engine light comes on occasionally for a few seconds during light throttle cruising. I’ve not had time to diagnose yet, but it doesn’t seem to affect anything. Runs fine, gets great mileage.
A/C compressor is good and installed, lines are included, but the condenser was crunched and will need to be replaced for the AC to work.
Fresh oil/filter, coolant, hoses, transmission service, etc…
New JVC iPod/MP3/CD player, new kenwood speakers all around.
The pictured stripped red car is the donor. It was literally owned by a little old lady that drove it to church and stuff, the car was super low mile and clean. Of course, my sister wrecked it within a few months and totaled it. It’s yours for free if you want it and buy the black car.
