Something is not computing about the dimensions...

I can sort-of see how it could be done, given that they both use a moustache in the back, a bolt-up subframe in the front (or am I thinking C5?), but I have a feeling the tunnel would have to have been opened up mightily to clear what I will call the powerplant frame (Mazda didn't do it first, but they made a nice name for it)
